My love of photography was born out of a month-long backpacking trip through Europe, aged 12. As a graduate from Langara College's Professional Photography program with a pre-major in Sociology, I have a uniquely creative and socially-informed perspective that enables me to capture the zeitgeist of today in images with a voice that speaks directly to target audiences. Born and raised on the unceded traditional territories of  xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), and qiqéyt (Qayqayt) Nations, I am grateful to call myself a guest on the lands so-called "Vancouver".

On set, I deal in efficiency, seriousness, and plain sheer fun. I strive to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere that puts my clients and team at ease. Collaboration truly is key to creating the best work- from pre-production to final delivery, it ensures our shared vision is realized. After 15 years and counting of having a camera in-hand, I particularly love working with others as they drive me to continually improve my skills, stay open minded, share the learning, and uplift others. Being able to work with other talented and creative people fuels me to pull all the stops on each and every shoot, be it in-studio on on-location.

I believe that photography is so much more than just snapping pictures and exposing for highlights– it's about revealing the beauty that is all around us, distilling moments, telling stories, and building communities.
